Torturing and mutilating pets is a felony in Texas. See our TAKE ACTION link above. To help with local cruelty cases the Humane Society SPCA is offering rewards for tips that lead to the arrest and prosecution of the felony offenders.
We are now offering a free set of SoftPaws with the adoption of select cats!
SoftPaws are soft plastic caps that are attached to a cat's claws with non-toxic epoxy. They are disposable and shed naturally after 6-8 weeks with the cat's natural claw growth, and they do not interfere with retraction and extension. The Humane Society is proud to offer this safe declawing alternative to our feline friends!

Volunteer orientations are open to anyone 16-years-old or older and 12-15 years of age with a parent volunteer.
