News and Notes

Congratulations Dr. Hurst
..........................................................................................................

The Humane Society is happy to announce that we now have our very own Shelter Medicine Veterinarian, Dr. Courtney Hurst, D.V.M. Find out more about her on the Staff page.

Adoptions 7 Days a Week
..........................................................................................................

Join us Noon until 7PM for adoptions. Prices from $25 to $125. Adoption packages valued at over $300. Closed on all major holidays.

Stop Cruelty -Reward Fund
..........................................................................................................

Torturing and mutilating pets is a felony in Texas. See our TAKE ACTION link above. To help with local cruelty cases the Humane Society SPCA is offering rewards for tips that lead to the arrest and prosecution of the felony offenders.

Free SoftPaws!
..........................................................................................................

We are now offering a free set of SoftPaws with the adoption of select cats! SoftPaws are soft plastic caps that are attached to a cat's claws with non-toxic epoxy. They are disposable and shed naturally after 6-8 weeks with the cat's natural claw growth, and they do not interfere with retraction and extension. The Humane Society is proud to offer this safe declawing alternative to our feline friends!
